KOMODO & FLORES COMBINED TOUR

ITINERARY:

DAY 1: DENPASAR  – LABUAN BAJO – KOMODO ISLAND – KALONG ISLAND

Pick-up at Komodo airport in Labuan Bajo, west of Flores Island, drive to the harbor, jump in to the boat for Komodo island which is take about 3hours. On arrival at the island, you will be welcome by rangers who are ready  to take you in the forest to discovery the giant Komodo dragon, what is known as ORA among the people in Komodo Island. After trekking  around the island, return to the boat and continued to Kalong island to see the flying Foxes.  Dinner and overnight on board

DAY 2: KALONG ISLAND – PADAR ISLAND – LABUAN BAJO –  RUTENG

Early morning the boat ride to Padar island, on arrival hiking up to the top point to see the beautiful panorama, and then return to boat to get back to Labuan bajo, on the way stop will be made at Menjerite island or Kelor island for snorkeling and swimming or just relaxing on white sandy beach, afterwards boat move on to Labuan bajo harbor. On arrival your car being waiting to take you towards Ruteng town, on the way stop will be made at Golo Cara  to see paddy rice field it looks like Mega spider web formed, which is called Lingko by local people, as symbol of family union. Arrival in Ruteng town,the town known as ahome of Home of homo Floresiensis. check in to  Spring hill Hotel.

DAY 3: RUTENG – GOLOCURU HILL – RANAMESE LAKE – AIMERE – BAJAWA

After breakfast, drive to Golocuru hill as top point in Ruteng, here you can take picture of Ruteng town who covered by mountains and rice fields, and then drive Ranamese lake. The lake in middle of tropical forest under feet of Ranaka mountain, and then to Aimere to see the local people’s home industry  who product arack from Lontar palm by traditional way. On arrival at Bajawa, check-in at Happy-Happy hotel or similar. In the afternoon, if time allowed visit Bena, a traditional village which is Ngadhu and Bhaga as symbols of male and female ancestral spirits. Return to the Hotel.

DAY 4: BAJAWA – KAMPUNG ADAT BENA – ENDE – MONI

After breakfast drive to Pengajawa blue stone beach, see the local people collect the Blue stone as one of their source income, drive to be continued to Ende the old town of Flores island and also as a place where Bung Karno the Indonesian first president exiled by Dutch colonial in 1935, After lunch drive to Moni check in at Kelimutu Ecolodge hotel.

DAY 5: MONI – KELIMUTU – ENDE – DENPASAR

Wake up early morning, drive up to parking area of Kelimutu, taking a walk ascending to the top of Kelimutu. It aproximately takes thirty minutes to get to the top of the mountain which is currently established at an altitude of 1789 metes above the sea. The time estimation to reach the top of the mountain depends on physical conditions of the climbers. Enjoying yourself in the presence of sunrise and the three colors Lakes of Kelimutu; Tiwu Ata Polo, Tiwu Ata Nuwamoi Jemu, and Tiwu ata Mbupu. After getting pleasure from the nature in Kelimutu, back to the hotel for breakfast and afterwards you are drive to Ende, on the way visit Nduaria fruits market, and traditional villaage of Wollogai that belongs to Ende tribes, and then continues to Ende airport for the next flight.
